PURPOSE: To provide a method for deciding the position and number of air vent holes provided at a mold by using a simulation by a computer without actual trial manufacture of the mold in a blow molding. ;CONSTITUTION: The model of a cavity shape engaged in a mold formed from the model of the initial shape of a parison extruded from a molding machine and the object product shape is input to a computer as input data.
