PURPOSE: To obtain the subject product containing a finely cut raw sea weed, well maintaining the characteristics of devil's tongue and the sea weed, excellent in texture and appearance, low in the calorie and improved in the nutritive value. ;CONSTITUTION: A raw sea weed-containing devil's tongue contains finely cut raw sea weed (preferably Nemacystus decipiens). The objective product is preferably obtained e.g. by grinding 30kg of the tuberous roots of devil's tongue, adding 6kg of the raw Nemacystus decipiens finely cut into 2,3mm pieces, kneading the mixture, leaving the kneaded product for 30-80min, adding calcium hydroxide, kneading the mixture for 5-20min, molding the molded product, heating the molded product at 85°C for 5-20min or at 60°C for 40-80min, aging the heated product for 100-140min, packing the aged product and subsequently thermally sterilizing the product with hot water.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
