PURPOSE: To accurately grasp the residual amount in a numeric value by a method wherein a silo main body to store cement, etc., is supported on a stand via measuring instruments such as load cells. ;CONSTITUTION: A stand 12 for a silo main body 1 where cement, etc., is stored consists of a supporting member having a round cross section and a base plate 12b which is firmly attached to the supporting member. Two or more load cells 13 as measuring instruments are arranged at regular intervals along the circumference of the supporting member. Each of the load cells 13 functions as a load sensor of a weighing instrument. Thereby, the gross weight of the silo main body 1 is calculated from signals detected by the load cells 13, and the tare which is previously detected is subtracted from the gross weight to obtain the net weight of the cement in a storage space 3. As the obtained net weight can be indicated in a numeric value, the residual amount of cement can be always grasped accurately.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
