PURPOSE:To prevent rusting of a metallic plate without lowering rigidity, by a method wherein, in a part feeder employing an electrostriction element, a drive body is formed such that the electrostriction element is buried in a synthetic resin layer laminated to the metallic plate. CONSTITUTION:Synthetic resin layers 12 and 12 are formed on both surfaces of a metallic plate 11, and electrostriction elements 13a and 13b are buried in both outer surfaces of the synthetic resin layers 12 and 12 to form a drive body 10. The drive body can be formed by insert molding. Further, a glass- plastic composite material and the like are used as the synthetic resin layer 12. This constitution enables prevention of rusting of the metal surface, and permits elimination of a work of polishing a joint.
