PURPOSE: To provide a sustain time adding mechanism of electronic musical instrument, with which it is capable of giving finely arranged sustain times in accordance with the proceeding of a tune without requiring a player to remove hand from a keyboard during the play. ;CONSTITUTION: A sustain time adding mechanism of an electronic musical instrument is composed of a sustain time setting means 3A which sets the sustain time S to serve as a reference value, a change amount instructing means 14 to give a change to the set sustain time, an operation amount sensing means 13 to sense the operation amount of the means 14, a sustain time converting table 22 which determines the change amount ΔS of the sustain time in compliance with the operation amount sensed, and a sustain time calculating means 21 which adds the determined change amount S of sustain time to the sustain time S as the set reference value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
