PURPOSE: To construct a new underground structure reliably and simply in a side surface part of an existing underground structure. ;CONSTITUTION: After struts 8 are installed between an underground structure 4 in proximity to a boundary, work such as water drainage, solidification or the like is performed, and breaking, earth filling and banking of a side surface part of a first single division are executed. In succession, removal of the struts 8, repeated banking of the single division and the breaking of the side surface part are repeated according to an erected directional length of the side surface part, and good earth is banked at least in a breaking side surface part. Afterwards, a new underground structure is constructed in this banking position. Thereby, an existing underground structure constructed in proximity to the boundary or an underground obstacle or the like can be reliably and easily removed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
