PURPOSE:To facilitate leveling of a floor backing member so as to shorten a construction period by horizontally cutting off a required number of foundations made of foaming resin in accordance with a reference line, and laying a floor backing member and a floor finishing member thereon in sequence. CONSTITUTION:A required number of foundations 10... made of foaming resin are arranged on a concrete slab 1. A cutting tool using a thermal nichrome wire 12 and the like is moved horizontally in accordance with a previously set reference line to cut off an excessive portion in the upper end part of each of the foundation 10 so as to perform leveling of the foundation 10. Then, a floor backing member and a floor finishing member are laid in sequence on each of the foundations where the leveling has been completely performed. Further, it is desirable to interpose a vibration isolating member made of rubber and the like between the concrete slab 1 and each of the foundations 10.
