FLOOR PANEL FOR HOUSE BUILT BY TWO-BY-FOUR METHOD, AND CONSTRUCTING METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: To shorten term of works by a method wherein an upper half of a horizontally divided end floor joist is nailed to the outside of a frame of a floor panel while a lower half is nailed to a ground sill timber or the like on the opposite side, and the floor panels are laid with the upper and the lower halves of the end floor joist united together. ;CONSTITUTION: An upper half 8 of an end floor joist is nailed to the outside of a frame of a floor panel in a framework structure while a lower half 6 of the end floor joist is nailed, corresponding to the upper half 8, to a ground sill timber (b). In the case where two floor panels are connected together, the lower half 6 of the end floor joist is nailed to the lower part of the frame 2 of the adjacent floor panel. A protuberance and a recession may be made to connecting surfaces of the upper and the lower halves 8 and 6 of the end floor joist, and both of the halves may be connected together. The floor panels are installed to the upper beds of the floor joists arranged in parallel with one another with the upper and the lower halves 8 and 6 of the end floor joists engaged with each other. On installation, connecting members or supplementary devices are used, as occasion demands, for making the adjoining panels engaged with each other. Thereby, manufacture and installation of the floor panels can be executed simply, contributing to shortening of term of works.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
