TELEPHONE SET WITH COMMUNICATING DESTINATION NAME INFORMING FUNCTION

PURPOSE: To discover erroneous dialling in an early stage by comparing a communicating destination name informed by sound and a desired communicating destination name. ;CONSTITUTION: A subscriber's number, a subscriber's name corresponding to the subscriber's number and tone quality are registered and stored in a memory as a pair. In the case of communicating with an external subscriber A, a caller dials the subscriber's number of the subscriber A (a step 101). Then, on condition that informing service is being executed (the step 102), a telephone terminal checks whether or not the inputted subscriber's number is registered in the memory (the step 103). When it is registered, the subscriber's name registered corresponding to the subscriber's number is read out of the memory as the communicating destination name and the caller is informed of the read communicating destination name by the sound of the tone quality registered as the pair (the step 104).;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
