PURPOSE:To decrease the parts of a driving transmission system and to attain size and thickness reduction by providing a transmission pin which is stood on a sectorial member and a transmission arm which is rotated by the movement of the transmission pin and rotating a tension arm against a tension spring through the rotation of the transmission arm. CONSTITUTION:The transmission pin 46 stood on the sectorial member 45 abuts on the center part of the transmission arm 40 to rotate it clockwise around a shaft 41 stood on a chassis 1. The tension arm 11A rotates clockwise around a shaft 14 in response to the clockwise rotation of one end 40a of the transmission arm 40, so that a tension post 12 contacts a magnetic tape 50. Then one end 40a of the transmission arm 40 leaves the center part of the tension arm 11A because the tension spring 15A provided to one end of the tension arm 11A balances with the tension of the magnetic tape 50, thereby performing tension control. Consequently, the number of parts is decreased and the space is reduced to reduce the size and thickness.
