PURPOSE: To provide a control method for a plate thickness by a hot continuous rolling mill by which the plate thickness can be controlled with a few errors even in the case of plural rolling stands. ;CONSTITUTION: In a control method for a plate thickness by a hot continuous rolling mill with three rolling stands or over, an intermediate plate thickness meter 10 is installed between arbitrary rolling stands before two stands or over from a final rolling stand 15.
