摘要

PURPOSE: To easily evaluate and judge a filling behavior by investigating the area of a free surface being the contact boundary surface of a molten material during filling with the cavity of an unfilled part during the period from the start of the filling with the molten material to the completion thereof. ;CONSTITUTION: The data of the filling state in a mold of a molten material obtained by analysis is sent to a free surface calculation part 2 at a designated time interval. The area of a free surface being the boundary surface of the molten material and an unfilled part or the area of the free surface in the region wherein an analytical model is preliminarily divided into arbitrary blocks is calculated in the free surface calculation part 2 to be stored in a memory or a memory device such as a file. Thereafter, a filling analyzing part 1 is again operated and this process is repeated until the mold is filled with the molten material. After the completion of filling analysis, the analytical results stored in the memory device are graphically outputted to the analytical result display part 3 of a CRT or a printer.
