PURPOSE: To provide a light-emitting device for imaging the halo from an image of gods or Buddha, which emits light as if halo from its behind. ;CONSTITUTION: A halo device 2 which is provided behind an image of Buddha 1 is composed of three clear plates 3a, 3b, 3c, a light source 5, an attaching base 6, etc. The light source 5 is roughly inserted into an opening 3e of the three clear plates 3a, 3b, and 3c, and is connected to a power supply 8 through a switch 7. Edges of the three clear plates 3a, 3b, and 3c are respectively provided with inclined parts 3d. When the switch 7 is turned ON, the light source 5 lights up, the light is transmitted to the three clear plates 3a, 3b, and 3c, and the light is changed its light path at the inclined parts 3d and is transmitted to the image of Buddha 1. This light looks like the halo emitted from the image of Buddha 1 when a person looks the image of Buddha 1 from the front.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
