摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject refractory material presenting stable physical properties as a lightweight, large-sized structural material, by mixing a magnesium oxysalt compound with both zeolite and foamed granules as aggregates. ;CONSTITUTION: This refractory material is obtained by mixing a magnesium oxysalt compound made from magnesia and a salt thereof with zeolite and inorganic or synthetic resin-based foamed granules. The zeolite is pref. prepared by acid treatment of tuff granules. Zeolite mixing can restrain the magnesium oxysalt from getting soluble by the water adsorbed to and magnesia cement from corrosion. Also, foamed granule mixing lowers the BSG of this refractory material from ≤0.6 to ≤0.3 and, at the same time, can retain its flexural strength at 10kgf/cm2. Therefore, this refractory material is molded and then cured at low temperatures to obtain a lightweight, large-sized structural material having stable physical properties.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
