EARTH RETAINING METHOD IN EXCAVATION WORK

PURPOSE: To prevent the collapse of an excavated ditch simply, safely and surely without using any heavy machine. ;CONSTITUTION: An air-bag 3a forming a semi-circular recessed groove 5 corresponding to a pipe 2 buried when it is expanded with pressure is placed to an excavated ditch 1 excavated from the ground to pressurize and expand, air-bags 3b, 3c are placed above the air-bag 3a to pressurize and expand, and bearing force against side walls of the excavated ditch 1 is ensured by inside pressure of air-bags 3a, 3b and 3c to maintain a channel shape.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
