ENGINE COOLING AIR INTRODUCING STRUCTURE OF PORTABLE AIR BLOWER

PURPOSE: To downsize an air blower by arranging a blowoff opening of a cooling air cooling a cylinder in a casing, arranging an inclined part inside, blowing off the cooling air cooling the cylinder from the opening, and cooling a muffler by the cooling air passing through an inclined face part. ;CONSTITUTION: Outside air is introduced into a space 55 composed of a first casing 20 and a second casing 30 through an air blowing chamber 50 composed of a crank case 10 and the first casing 20 by rotation of a cooling fan 60, and a cylinder 100 in the space 55 is cooled. A cooling air cooling the cylinder 100 is blown off outside from an opening of an inclined face part, and a muffler is cooled by the cooling air passing through a slit of the inclined face part. Since the blowoff direction of the cooling air from the opening becomes the oblique forward direction of a surface of the second casing 30, hot air blows off while evading an operator, and an unpleasant feeling is eliminated. Since a cooling effect of the muffler is enhanced by a part of the cooling air, a small muffler can be installed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
