PURPOSE: To realize two discharging types, a high pressure intermittent discharging type and a practically continuous intermediate pressure discharging type, with a single pump. ;CONSTITUTION: A plunger 70 increases and reduces the capacity of a pump chamber 72 by making a reciprocating motion accompanying the rotation of a crankshaft 16. The rotation of an input shaft 18 is transmitted to a second intermediate shaft 34 through a gear 46 or a pinion 52 by the changeover of a cut-off lever 48. A drive side non-cylindrical gear 60 and a driven side non- cylindrical gear 62 are respectively fitted on the second intermediate shaft 34 and the crankshaft 16 and engaged with each other. The pitch curvature of the drive side non-cylindrical gear 60 and the driven side non-cylindrical gear 62 are designed so that the rotational quantity of the second intermediate shaft 34 equivalent to the discharge stroke and the intake stroke differ from each other.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
