PURPOSE: To easily and surely perform pick finding action by supplying a bobbin, which is completed such processing as leaving only a top punch of a prescribed winding number, in a winding unit so as to find a pick of yarn of the top punch. ;CONSTITUTION: When an actual bobby tray T is stopped by a stopper 11, a shutter cutter 17 is opened so that a suction mouth 13 is in a suction state, a motor M normally turns at prescribed speed, and the bobbin B1 is rotated in the arrow (a) direction together with the tray T so that a part of a drum winding top punch is released. After that, yarn Ya in the adjacent to the bobbin top part Ba is cut by a cutter 15. The yarn end is sucked and removed by the suction mouth 13 and only the top punch Ya' of a prescribed winding number is left on the top part Ba of the bobbin. The bobbin which is completed such processing as leaving the top punch Ya' of a prescribed winding number on the bobbin top part Ba is thus supplied to a winding unit and pick finding is performed by a unit side pick finding device in the winding unit.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
