TWO-SYSTEM COOLING HEAT EXCHANGER AND TWO-SYSTEM COOLER USING THE HEAT EXCHANGER

PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of two-system cooling by coupling heat pipes in which operating fluids having different boiling temperatures are sealed in series, forming heat exchange chambers having different cooling systems at the outside, and providing radiating members. ;CONSTITUTION: A first heat pipe 2 in which first operating fluid is sealed is coupled to a second heat pipe 2 in which second operating fluid having lower boiling temperature than that of the first fluid is sealed by a coupler 4. If the temperature of first cooling liquid is higher than the operating temperature of the first fluid, the first fluid sealed in the first pipe 2 derives the heat of the first liquid in a first heat exchange chamber 5 to be boiled to reach a second heat exchanger chamber 6, is cooled by the second liquid to be liquefied, and returned to the chamber 5. If the temperature of second cooling liquid is higher than the operating temperature of the second fluid, the second fluid sealed in the second pipe 2 is boiled in the chamber 6 to reach the part 3 mounted with a radiating member 15 at the outer surface, air-cooled to be liquefied, and returned to the chamber 6.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
