PURPOSE: To obtain the optimim cooling pipe arrangement within a short time by grouping nodal points exceeding the reference temp. of a mold on the basis of temp. distribution obtained by cooling analysis to extract a heat sump and executing a correction method predetermined by the range of the temp. difference between the highest temp. and the reference temp. of the mold among the nodal points of the heat sump. ;CONSTITUTION: A cooling piping model is read (S31) and cooling analysis is executed by a boundary element method to operate the temps. of respective nodal points (S32) and the nodal points exceeding the reference temp. of a mold are detected (S33) and grouped at every adjacent nodal point (S34). Next, the nodal points of the highest temps. of respective groups are extracted and the group names discriminating the groups and the highest temps. of the groups are stored in a corresponding data base 12 (S35-36). After various shapes related to the analysis of a heat sump are read (S42), the group names and the highest temps. are read from the data base 12 to operate the differences between the reference temp. of the mold and the highest temps. (S43) and a correction method preset at every temp. difference is read (S44) from an evaluation-measure data base 11 (S44) to be executed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
