SOLUTIONIZATION OF STEEL PRODUCTS CAPABLE OF SHORTENING PICKLING TIME

PURPOSE: To shorten pickling time by utilizing ultrasonic waves during rapid cooling at the time of subjecting steel products to a solutionization heat treatment. ;CONSTITUTION: The austenitic stainless steels, etc., are rapidly cooled while the ultrasonic waves are used at the time of rapid cooling, such as water cooling in the solutionization heat treatment thereof. As a result, these steels are descaled by the pickling treatment of the shorter time without depending on a mechanical descaling treatment, such as shot blasting.
