METAL-BOARD-ROOFED AND CLAY-TILE-ROOFED ROOF STRUCTURE FOR BUILDING

PURPOSE: To reduce man-hours by using drop preventing nails bendable at tips for batten seam roofing, lateral roofing, and metal board roofing on a roof sill. ;CONSTITUTION: A concrete 2 inclined in one direction and a lightweight foam concrete panel 3 arranged on the surface are connected by multiple nuts 4 having washers and separators 5 having support plates to form an integrated roof sill 6. Clips 12 are mounted on the waterproof-processed panel 3 at the prescribed intervals while the open sides are faced upward. When the tip 18 of a drop preventing nail 9 is inserted into a nail hole and the nail 9 is driven into the panel 3, the flange 15 of a short nail 16 collides with a washer 20 and is stopped. Only a long nail 17 proceeds, the short nail 16 and long nail 17 are expanded to some degree, the tip 18 is bent to the short nail 16 side, and the drop preventing nail 9 is not dropped easily from the panel 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
