EGG SORTER AND EGG SORTING AND PACKING APPARATUS EMPLOYING THE SAME

PURPOSE: To eliminate stopping a sorter due to erroneous filling of a packing container and also support all containers different in shape by once receiving eggs on a single line distribution and carrying device into a receiving container and transferring them to the packing container with a single packing unit as reference. ;CONSTITUTION: A carrier 14 across a carrying path for receiving and carrying eggs discharged from a single line distribution and carrying device 3 is placed below the device 3 for holding eggs one by one and carrying them in a single line to discharge them based on a weight of an egg. A transfer device 16 is further provided for taking out the eggs in at least a single packing unit from a receiving container of the carrier 14 and transferring them to a packing container 7a waiting on a packing device 15. The carrier 14 comprises a circulating carrier for the receiving container formed with a shape corresponding to a line of recesses for receiving the eggs in the packing container 7a as a unit to include a role as a buffer, so that stop of an apparatus due to erroneous filling of the packing container 7a can be eliminated and a plurality of kinds of packing containers can be supported.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
