PURPOSE:To surely enlarge a spiral pipe in diameter by interposing a wire between the side peripheral sections of mutually adjacent band shaped bodies, forming a spiral pipe by a pipe manufacturing means mutually meshing the side peripheral sections, and thereby enlarging the spiral pipe while the spiral pipe is inserted into an existing pipe. CONSTITUTION:The side peripheral section of mutually adjacent band shaped bodies 10 are mutually meshed, and a wire 30 is continuously locked in order that the meshed portion is increased in frictional resistance, so that a spiral pipe is thereby formed. The spiral pipe 10a is inserted into an existing pipe 81 in order so as to be advanced, the tip end of the spiral pipe 10a is thereby fixed onto the existing pipe 81 thereafter. In the second place, propulsion force is imparted to the band shaped body 10 forming the spiral pipe 10a, so that the wire 30 is thereby separated at a specified speed from the spiral pipe 10b. Following which, the spiral pipe 10a is enlarged in diameter while the spiral pipe 10a is being rotated with the side peripheral sections of the respective band shaped bodies 10 slidably moved out of the section from which the wire 30 is separated. By this constitution, the deteriorated existing pipe 81 can thereby be recycled.
