APPARATUS FOR MEASURING HIGH FREQUENCY FIELD DISTRIBUTION IN THE VICINITY OF CABLE

PURPOSE: To obtain an apparatus for measuring the high frequency field in the vicinity of a cable with no restriction on the width or thickness of the cable to be measured. ;CONSTITUTION: The apparatus 1 for measuring the field in the vicinity of a cable comprises a base 3 for fixing a cable to be measured, a probe 4 for measuring the field around the cable, and a section 5 for operating the probe 4 to perform three-dimensional scanning in the vicinity of the cable. The base 3 is made of a nonconductive plate and the cable 2 is fixed linearly by means of a nonconductive fixing band 6. The probe operating section 5 comprises an X-axis guide 11, a Y-axis guide 12, and a Z-axis guide 13 for shifting the probe 4, respectively, along X-axis, Y-axis and Z-axis.
