PURPOSE:To obtain sheet compound film having in itself a duct for permeate and being able to increase the film area per unit volume of a module by forming on a porous base film a duct for permeate extending from one end of the base film to the other end continuously. CONSTITUTION:Back-up sheet having protruded of a predetermined size and pitch and corresponding to the grooves to be formed on the rear side of porous base film is quided to a back-up roll, and resin solution for forming the base film 2 is coated with a roll coater, etc., on the sheet. After forming film by conducting the sheet to a coagulating bath, obtd. base film 2 is stripped off the back-up sheet. A skin layer 3 is formed on the surface of the base film 2, thus sheet compound film having groove-shaped ducts 4 for permeate having openings formed on the base film from one end to the other end of the base film 2 is obtained. If a spiral module, etc., is prepd. using the above described compound film, no more spacers for permeate is necessary.
