Yarn fiber composite of crimped polyester different fineness Koto

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the title yarn giving cloth of excellent bulkiness and good drapery by mixing side-by-side type conjugated fibers consisting of two specifically different kinds of polyesters of different fineness and different crimping with two kinds of crimp-free fibers made of only corresponding single polymer, respectively. CONSTITUTION:(A) A polyethylene terephthalate polymer containing more than 95mole% of ethylene terephthalate units is used as a polymer for the low heat- shrinkable side, while (B) a modified polyester containing more than 85mole% of ethylene terephthalate units, 1-5mole% of 5-sodiosulfoisophthalic acid and 2-20mole% of adipic acid is used as a polymer for the high-shrinkable side to form side-by-side type conjugated fibers of different fineness and different crimping. The side-by-side conjugated filaments are mixed with shrink-free filaments made of 100% polyesters A and B polymers to give the subject yarn.
