PURPOSE:To obtain an Al alloy fin material for heat exchanger excellent in self-corrosion resistance and sacrificial anode effect by specifying respective maximum concentrations of In, Sn, and Ga in the surface part of a fin material made of Al alloy containing specific percentages of one or =2 elements among In, Sn, and Ca. CONSTITUTION:At the time of producing a fin material made of Al alloy having a composition consisting of one or =2 kinds among 0.005-0.1%, by weight, In, 0.01-0.1% Sn, and 0.01-0.2% Ga and the balance Al with inevitable impurities, the temp. in heating treatment (process annealing and final annealing) is regulated to = about 400 deg.C and the muximum concentrations of In, Sn, and Ga in the surface layer part are regulated to =5%, respectively. By this method, the fin material made of Al alloy contributing toward prolonging the service life of heat exchanger and improving reliability can be obtained.
