PURPOSE:To prevent deposition of carbon and generation of water in an intercooler in EGR. CONSTITUTION:In the EGR device of a supercharged diesel engine with intercooler in which the intercooler 7 is provided on the intake passage 4 from the supercharger 2 to the engine 1 and the EGR pipe 11 returning exhaust gas is connected to the upper stream side of the supercharger 2, it is constituted so that a bypass passage 15 connecting together the supercharger 2 and the engine 1 while bypassing the intercooler 7 is provided, and in addition changeover means 16, 17 letting flow the intake air from the supercharger 2 usually to the passage 6 on the intercooler 7 side and in EGR to the bypass passage 15 is provided.
