RADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM FOR STABLE TRANSMISSION OVER LONG RANGE

PURPOSE: To obtain a rocket telemeter communication system by which stable transmission is attained over a long range. ;CONSTITUTION: The rocket telemeter communication system 1 is made up of a command reception means 3, a telemeter transmission means 5, and a telemeter signal processing unit 7. The command reception means 3 is made up of two antennas 31a, 31b, an antenna changeover device 32 and a receiver 33. The telemeter transmission means 5 is made up of two antennas 51a, 51b, an antenna changeover device 52, and a transmitter 53. An AGC signal from the receiver 33 is fed to the antenna changeover devices 32, 51 and the telemeter signal processing unit 7. The antenna changeover device 32(52) selects either of antennas 31a, 31b (51a, 51b) depending whether or not the level of the AGC signal exceeds a prescribed level. The telemeter signal processing unit 7 decides a transmission rate of information sent from the transmitter 53 depending on the AGC signal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
