PURPOSE: To provide the rotary cutting tool and scale removing method thereof capable of completely removing scale even for a hot steel stock of high Si steel, etc., hard to remove scale. ;CONSTITUTION: In a rotary cutting tool 2 to remove the scale generated on the surface of hot steel stock 1, plural cutting tips 3 are arranged on the surface of a tool shunk 4 facing to the face to be cut of hot steel stock. Further, cooling means is arranged to the rotary cutting tool 2 or the outside thereof or both of them, by injecting cooling water or/and cooling gas, while the rotary cutting tool 2 is cooled, the scale generated on the surface of hot steel stock 1 is removed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
