WELDING WIRE FOR CARBON STEEL EXCELLENT IN RUST PREVENTION

PURPOSE: To provide a welding wire for carbon steel hardly causing island- shaped rust and excellent in the rust prevention without need for providing the copper plating on the surface of the welding wire for the carbon steel. CONSTITUTION: This welding wire is a non-plated solid wire or a flux-cored wire. The contact electric resistance is measured at a plurality of points over the whole length of 10m of the arbitrarily taken-out section of this wire. The probability of the contact electric resistance ranges between 0 and 0.2 where the maximum value is =40Ω, the difference between the maximum and minimum values is =30Ω, and the measured value is =0.02Ω.
