METHOD FOR MEASURING RIDING COMFORT AND VIBRATION OF RAILWAY VEHICLE

PURPOSE: To provide a method by which the riding comfort of all vehicles constituting a train can be evaluated and the vibration of each vehicle can be displayed and recorded in real time. ;CONSTITUTION: A vehicle vibration measuring and processing slave station 13 which inputs the leftward and rightward vibrational acceleration signals and upward and downward vibrational acceleration signals detected by means of vibrational accelerometers 14 to a processor and evaluates the riding comfort levels and vibrations of the vehicles constituting a train is provided at every vehicle or at every several vehicles. A master station 12 which controls all slave stations 13 and receives data-processed indexes converted into the riding comfort levels and vibrations of all vehicles is provided in one vehicle in the train and the riding comfort and vehicle vibrations of the train are evaluated, displayed, and recorded in real time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
