PULL TOP OPENER

PURPOSE: To provide a pull top opener which makes possible a series of can opening operations comprising prying a pull top ring frame (tab), breaking the can open and forcing the ring frame back to the can surface in a simple one-touch operation and which is compact in shape. ;CONSTITUTION: In a hard material-made pull top opener, an upper prong 1a and a lower prong 1b have grip parts 2a and 2b, respectively, and are of the same length and disposed opposite each other and the first half part of the lower prong 1b is seperated into branch parts 3a and 3b in the form of a U. Such branch parts are of the same thickness, a tapered face or spline curved face 3c is formed on the lower surface of the branch parts and a pull top ring frame guide 4 is formed vertically in the center of the branch part 3a rising toward the upper prong 1a.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
