INTERLOCKING DEVICE FOR CAGE DOOR AND HALL DOOR OF ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To interlock an elevator car door with a landing door by providing a guide member for guiding a cam roller in the direction to separate two vertical rods so that the vertical rods make the landing door follow the car door in the door opening direction. SOLUTION: A guide member 84 is provided with a cam surface 86 on a decline toward the closing position and in the position in which a cam roller 52 may be instantaneously brought into contact with the cam surface just after the cam roller 52 is separated from the horizontal cam surface 54. When a car door 42 is continuously opened, the cam roller 52 is interlocked with the landing door 70 and engaged with the cam surface 86. The action of the cam surface 86 works to generate the distance between vertical rods 12, 14 in cooperation with the action of a spring 48. Since the vertical rod 12 is engaged with a lock releasing roller 82, the landing door 10 is additionally moved in the opening direction so as to absorb deviation in relation to the car door 42 during the extending operation of the distance.
