PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a metal wall of golf club head to be mounted on a golf club head body by pouring molten body metal to some of the openings of a mounting member to be permeated and solidified there. SOLUTION: A mounting member 17 which is connected to the back side 10d of a face plate 10 by welding, etc., has side portions disposed on both sides and openings throughout the portion between the side portions. The front of the side portions of the mounting member 17 face the back side of the plate 10. A net-shaped metal member of the mounting member has diagonal strands 18, 19 connected to one another, which have the shape of waves approaching and departing the plate 10, with strand portions 18a, 19b contacting and welded to the plate 10 locally. Thus, a plurality of solid openings is formed by the mounting member 17 and strands 18, 19, molten metal flows up to both sides of the mounting member 17 through these openings and fixed on the face plate 10.
