PURPOSE: To diagnose the degradation of a rotor continuously and forecast time for the replacement of the rotor by measuring the outlet temperature of regenerated air in a second-stage dehumidifier, and diagnosing the degradation of the rotor on a first-stage dehumidifier. ;CONSTITUTION: Air to be treated is dehumidified to a specified humidity by a precooler 7, and then the air is dehumidified by a first-stage dehumidifier. Further, the air is fed to a second-stage dehumidifier 2 with air fed back from a dry room 3 using a fan 8, and is additionally dehumidified. The obtained air having an ultra-low dew point is supplied to the dry room 3 after passing through an after cooler 10. In this case, the inlet temperature A and inlet humidity B of the treated air and the inlet temperature C of a regenerated air in the first-stage dehumidifier 1 and the inlet temperature D of the regenerated air and the outlet temperature E of the second-stage dehumidifier 2 are measured respectively. The degradation of a rotor 12 on the first-stage dehumidifier 1 is continuously diagnosed based on the measurement readings of the outlet temperature E of the second-stage dehumidifier 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
