PURPOSE: To manufacture a sintered ore for iron-making having high quality with high yield, high productivity and at a low cost by adding the specific quantities of SiO2 series and CaO series auxiliary materials to high goethite iron ore, mixing the resultant with carbonaceous material, granulating and sintering. ;CONSTITUTION: To the high goethite iron ore having ≥1.2wt. ratio (combined water/SiO2), the SiO2 series and the CaO series auxiliary materials are added. The added quantity of the SiO2 series auxiliary material is made to ≥0.006wt. ratio (SiO2/iron ore of ≤1mm) with respect to the SiO2 fine powder of ≤1mm in this auxiliary material. On the other hand, the CaO series auxiliary material of ≤1mm is added at 0.8-1.4wt. ratio (CaO/SiO2) with respect to the fine powder of ≤1mm in the blending raw material except returned ore. These are mixed with the carbonaceous material and granulated. The granules are charged to the whole bed in fire grate shifting type sintering machine or charged while being unevenly and locally distributed in the bed so as not to mix with the other blended raw material and sintered.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
