PURPOSE: To provide a chemical injection system which makes it possible to follow up not only the flow rate of water supply but also changes in water quality and hold an optimum chemical injection rate by inputting the electric conductivity of water supply into a chemical injection control device and correcting a chemical injection rate based on a specified equation and controlling the operation of the chemical injection device so that it may conform to the corrected chemical injection rate. ;CONSTITUTION: A water supply tank 3, a water supply pump 4, an electric conductivity meter 5 and a flow meter are installed on the way of a water supply pipeline 2 connected to the lower part of a boiler 1. A chemical injection pipeline from a chemical injection device 6 is connected to the water supply pipeline 2. A boiler control device 12, which is connected to the water supply pump 4, the chemical injection device 6, the boiler 1, an electric conductivity failure detection device 14 and the flow rate meter 13, is provided with a water supply unit, a chemical injection control unit and a fuel control unit or the like inside, thereby controlling each of the control units respectively. The electric conductivity available from the electric conductivity meter 5 installed on the way of the water supply system is input into the chemical injection control device, thereby correcting the chemical injection rate based on the equation preliminarily input in the chemical injection control device.
