PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of malfunction, and ensure the horizontal oscillation of a dumbwaiter to be prevented by applying the constitution that an opposed type cam is used for ensuring a cam roller to be clamped, even upon the occurrence of the planar and horizontal oscillation of a cage. ;CONSTITUTION: A dumbwaiter as an elevator of simple structure dedicated to a cargo has a cage elevated on the operation of a hoist, and the service opening thereof is provided with a door 4 freely slidable in a vertical direction. In this case, an opposed type cam 13 made of two symmetrical cams as a driving section is fitted to the cage. On the other hand, a cam roller 14 made of two arms 17a and 17b having rollers at the ends and having the roots integrally supported on the same shaft 16, is fitted to an elevator shaft as a driven section. In addition, one end of the wire 15a of a releasing wire member 15 covered with a sheath 18 is connected to one arm 17a, while the other end is extended to the door 4 of the opening and fastened to a lock plate coupled to the guide shoe 8 of the door 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
