FOAMED PRODUCT OF NATURAL STONE-CONTAINING PLASTIC OR RUBBER AND PRODUCT USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject foamed product utilizing the far IR light- irradiating, antimicrobial and deodorizing properties of SANSENSEKI (a kind of eruptive rock) from Taiwan. CONSTITUTION: The powder of the SANSENSEKI is added to the foamed product of a plastic or rubber. The mixture powder of the SANSENSEKI with KOKUTOKA serpentine from Taiwan may be added in an amount of =30wt.%. The foamed product is preferably a polyurethane foam. The foamed product is suitably used as a wadding for bedclothes and furnitures. When the wadding is attached to the SANSENSEKI, KOKUTOKA serpentine, quartz, black agate or obsidian, the synergistic effect of the wadding with the ores can be expected. Since the antimicrobial property of the foamed product against methicillin- resistant Staphylococcus aureus is high, the foamed product is useful for bedclothes for medical treatments.
