PURPOSE:To efficiently recover platinum metal from a catalyst at low cost by crushing and granulating a ceramic honeycomb-structured catalyst containing platinum metal, baking a granulated product and dissolving and extracting platinum metal from the baked product. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic honeycomb-structured catalyst used for the purification of automotive exhaust gas is crushed and granulated, and the granulated product obtained through granulated is baked.
