METHOD OF REINFORCING CUT SLOPE OF CRACKED ROCK BED

PURPOSE: To simply and economically cut off the cracked rock bed especially at a sharp gradient while securing the stability of the cut slope of the cracked rock bed by blocking the cracks. ;CONSTITUTION: Cracks having been existing originally in a rock bed or open condition caused from these cracks by the removal of load by the cut off of the rock bed are blocked by inserting a short reinforcing material 4, which has a reaction part at the tip on the side of cracked ground G, into the cut slope 2 of the cracked rock bed, and adding axial force to the reinforcing material 4 thereby adding binding force to the rock bed between the reaction part and a head plate 4a.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
