PURPOSE:To interrupt processing immediately before the optional step of a program described in high level language by providing a deciding means to decide whether a node number to be processed next is within the range of the start and the end node numbers of the step given beforehand or not. CONSTITUTION:By using the node number to be added successively to objective language translated by a compiler, a table in which the start and the end node numbers in every step of a high level language program and its step number are made to correspond to each other is generated. On the other hand, whether the node number of the next processing contained in an instruction cell (objective language) after the processing to be transmitted through a communication network 4b is within the range of the start and the end node numbers of the objective step to be detected or not is decided by the collation of the table by the deciding means of a data detecting part 6. Then, when it is decided to be within said range, the flag of interruption is erected by a detection displaying means. Thus, the processing such as debugging can be surely executed by interrupting the execution immediately before the optional step of the program.
