PURPOSE:To drastically reduce the number of times of intervention of an operator by classifying the works into plural codes according to the working precision and previously inputting the working pattern in each code and judging the code of the work in working the workpiece and carrying out working according to the working pattern. CONSTITUTION:The information such as classification code for a work, ATC and AJC is down-loaded into each cell 22 through a communication circuit 23 by a host computer 21. In each cell 22 side, the classification code of a work W is judged on the basis of the sent-in information. A lathe 4 and robot 5 in the cell 22 are drive-controlled according to the working pattern which is previously inputted according to the judged classification code, and a work can be worked to a desired shape.
