PURPOSE:To convey a work reliably to a given position on a carrier conveyor by placing a work on a work placing part located on a conveying base table conveyed in a state to be supported in a position on the carrier conveyor and positioning and holding the work by means of an engaging holding part located to the conveying base table. CONSTITUTION:In the charge station of an assembly line, a work is placed on a work placing part 29 of a conveying base table 28 and an engaging holding part 31 is engaged with the work by means of an engaging driven means 32 for positioning and holding at 26.
