METHOD FOR ELIMINATING HARM OF NOX-CONTAINING EXHALATION GAS

PURPOSE:To make NOx-contg. exhalation gases non-toxic by interposing a column having multipacked beds consisting of a chemical adsorbent packed bed for removing NO and chemical adsorbent packed bed for removing NO2 into an exhaust system at the time of sucking the NOx-contg. exhalation gases discharged from an artificial respirator and discharging the gases outside. CONSTITUTION:The exhalation valve 2 of the artificial respirator 1 is connected via a tube 3 to a juncture 4a of a buffer tank 4. This juncture 4a is connected to a lower juncture 5a of the column 5 provided with an outdoor air introducing port 5b. The double packed bed formed with the chemical adsorbent packed bed (x) for removing NO in the lower stage and the chemical adsorbent packed bed (y) for removing NO2 in the upper stage are formed in the column 5. The NOx-contg. exhalation gases are made non-toxic at the time when the gases introduced from the column 5 from the lower juncture 5a of the column 5 pass both packed beds x, y in the column 5. The gases made non-toxic are ax, h sucked through the tube 6 from the upper juncture 5c to a suction pump 7 and are discharged outside.
