PURPOSE: To provide a comfortable waterside space by arranging stone blocks, and setting the porosity among the stone blocks to a prescribed porosity in a hydrophilic revetment structure. ;CONSTITUTION: The fall of a riverbank is set to the gradient of 1:0.5 or below. A draft preventing sheet 2 is installed on the gravel layer 1 of a riverbed at a proper portion from the upstream side to the downstream side including the gradient portion. Limestone blocks 3 are closely arranged on the draft preventing sheet 2 so that the flat sections 31 of Kuzuu stones 3 (Kuzuu is a production place of limestone) are exposed on the surface in particular, and the porosity of spaces 4 among the arranged limestone blocks 3 is set to 15-35%.
