PURPOSE: To provide a rotary fulcrum type polarized electromagnet from which a nonmagnetic substance metallic piece can be omitted and by which dispersion of sensitivity and opening characteristics is hardly caused when it is used in a relay. ;CONSTITUTION: A rotary fulcrum type polarized electromagnet is composed of a coil block 2 where a coil 2A is wound round an almost U-shaped iron core 2B, a plate-like yoke 4 which is inserted and fixed between magnetic poles 3A and 3B of the coil block 2 and forms a magnetic circuit between it and the iron core 2B, a rectangular permanent magnet 5 arranged in a recessed part 4A arranged in a central part of the plate-like yoke 4 and a contactor 6 which rotates with a center part as a fulcrum and whose end part 6A and end part 6B respectively contact with the magnetic pole 3A and the magnetic pole 3B. In the coil block 2, a magnetic pole surface 3a and a magnetic pole surface 3b are respectively formed on upper surfaces of the magnetic pole 3A and the magnetic pole 3B, and a coil frame 2C is extended to the magnetic pole surface 3b, and magnetic resistance is increased. A thin film insulating part 7 instead of a nonmagnetic substance metallic piece is formed on the magnetic pole surface 3b.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
