WAVEFORM DATA COMPRESSOR, WAVEFORM DATA COMPRESSION METHOD AND WAVEFORM DATA DEMODULATOR

PURPOSE: To decrease the memory capacity and processing time at the time of demodulation processing almost without deteriorating quality of demodulated waveform data by the use of the compression demodulation technology with respect to arbitrary waveform data. ;CONSTITUTION: Upon the receipt of a data transfer request from a hard buffer 104, a CPU 101 allows a soft buffer 103 to transfer ACOM compression voice waveform data and demodulates ACOM compression voice waveform data in a ROM 102 to generate demodulated voice waveform data for each prescribed block size and transfers the resulting data to a soft buffer 103 whose storage capacity is a multiple of a natural number of the frame size. A D/A converter 105 converts the demodulated voice waveform data outputted from the hard buffer 104 synchronously with a sampling period into an analog signal. The analog signal is amplified by a speaker section 106, from which the signal is sounded.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
